Chris Brown $50M Lawsuit for Concert Beat Down

Chris Brown has found himself in some legal trouble again stemming from an alleged attack during a VIP meet and greet in Fort Worth, TX.

Breezy’s 11:11 tour took an unexpected turn for the worse during his Friday, July 19 stop in Fort Worth after four men claim to have been assaulted by Brown and his entourage. According to CBS Texas, the alleged assault occurred after the show during a VIP backstage meet up. Court documents detail that the four men – Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, Damarcus Powell and Larry Parker – were backstage with others in the VIP area and decided to leave. As the men prepared to exit one of Brown’s entourage reminded him of a past encounter the “Warm Embrace” singer had with one of the men, shouting “man, you don’t remember you two were beefing?” to which Chris replied, “Oh yeah, we were…I don’t forget s—.”

The court documents reveal that Brown and the entourage proceeded to follow the men into the hallway where they physically assault the four plaintiffs. The claims detail how Brown instructed members of his crew to punch Parker in the face “and chest, kicked in the head for over ten minutes, and stomped on…[his]head, kicking his face and ribs, and causing severe bodily injury.”

The men are seeking $50 million for compensatory and punitive damages plus “pecuniary losses, pain and suffering, disfigurement, mental anguish, and past, present, and future medical expenses.” Brown has hired the McCathern Law firm to represent him in the matter claiming he was provoked.
