Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Leads People’s Choice Nods

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is absolutely dominating the nominations for the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards! The “Break My Soul” singer racked up a whopping 12 nominations this year, thanks to her latest hit album Cowboy Carter. And to think, this is a genre where she didn’t once feel welcomed. The excitement to see how many awards Queen Bey will win will have to wait until the show airs, live from the iconic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Thursday, September 26 at 8 p.m., hosted by the incomparable Shania Twain.

 

Beyoncé’s list of nods include: female artist, social country star, album of the year, song of the year—you name it, she’s there. And how about her two nominations for female song for “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ’Em”? People just can’t get enough of her. And the cover song category? She’s got double nominations there too for her stunning renditions of The Beatles‘ “Blackbird” and Dolly Parton‘s “Jolene.”
